Mackenzie Taylor, Old Town 4-H
$500 SCHOLARSHIP IN 2021
Mackenzie recently graduated from St. Joseph High School where, in addition to her studies, she played on the varsity golf team and varsity swim team and volunteered her time for community organizations like the Minerva Club.
Mackenzie has been an active member of Old Town 4-H Club where she served as Club Secretary for the last three years. She has raised both small and large livestock to show at the Fair including turkeys, sheep, and pigs.
Mackenzie’s volunteer work at Creative Beginnings Preschool has fueled her passion for education. Mackenzie will attend the San Diego State University in the Fall where she plans to pursue a degree in early childhood education, get her teaching credential, and become an elementary school teacher.
